About the Job:

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Technical Customer Success team in Seoul. This role will be reinforcing our Technical Customer Success team by supporting customers using our Qt framework and QA Tools for our customers in Korea. Your responsibilities include efficiently handling support requests, offering technical assistance through email and virtual meetings, as well as identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to Qt and our QA Tools.

In this role one can be at the beginning of their career but highly motivated and have some experience in software development from before. You should be passionate about great customer service and always interested in making customers achieve their goals.

You will:

  • Process support requests from prospects and customers who are developers using our QA tools
  • Provide optimal Qt coding solutions for customers
  • Work closely with customers and help them to achieve their goals
  • Work on several Qt supported platforms
  • Reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to QA tools
  • Develop and provide solutions for bugs found by customers
  • Provide technical support via email and, in some cases, virtual meetings
  • Work with various other departments to help bring visibility to the customers needs
  • Create new and translate existing technical content into Korean to support our onboarding offering

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Strong scripting language experience such as Python, JavaScript, Perl, or others
  • Experience with GitHub, GitLab, or other version control systems
  • Experience with shell scripts (Bash or others) and Unix command line.
  • Experience with batch scripts (".bat" files) and Windows command (including PowerShell) line
  • Experience with automated GUI testing (via Squish, QTP, QC, AutoHotkey, or others) is an advantage.
  • Good software development skills with C++ and JavaScript
  • Highly organized and solutions-oriented
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with both internal stakeholders and customers
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a curiosity for technical problems and motivation to help customers
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills
  • Native level Korean and Good English language skills
