About the Job:

Qt Group is seeking a strategic and experienced Field Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts across the US and Canada. In this role, you will also be responsible for managing the AMER field marketing team, ensuring alignment with global marketing strategies and driving key initiatives across the region. You will build and execute comprehensive marketing plans that drive sales opportunities, support the customer lifecycle, and enhance Qt’s market presence. This role is based in Boston, MA and reports to the Field Marketing Director, based in Espoo, Finland.

You will:

  • Marketing Strategy & Budget Planning
    • Build and manage the marketing budget and marketing plan in collaboration with marketing stakeholders and sales to drive qualified sales opportunities.
    • Enhance company positioning and brand awareness through digital, content, and event-based marketing initiatives
  • Team Leadership & Regional Oversight
    • Lead and manage the AMER field marketing team, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management to drive regional success.
    • Ensure the field marketing team aligns with global strategies while addressing regional nuances and market needs.
  • Demand Generation
    • Develop and execute demand generation strategies that drive measurable growth, leveraging data-driven insights and optimizing performance.
    • Strategically explore and implement new growth opportunities to drive business impact.
    • Build a strong marketing-to-sales funnel using CRM and marketing automation tools.
  • Event Management
    • Lead the planning, execution, and measurement of various events including virtual events, speaking opportunities, seminars, trade shows, conferences, and webinars.
    • Oversee all aspects of event planning from budgeting, scheduling, and logistics to content development, creative theming, promotions, post-event follow-ups, and success metrics.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment and Reporting
    • Collaborate with cross-functional team-members in Sales to ensure marketing activities are aligned with company growth goals
    • Continuously assess and refine marketing tactics to ensure optimal outcomes.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing Communications or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant marketing experience with a strong background in inbound marketing, event marketing, and demand generation.
  • Experience in B2B marketing within technology-driven environments is preferred.
  • Proven experience in demand generation and pipeline management using CRM and marketing automation tools such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of event marketing methodologies and processes.
  • Results-driven with the ability to set aggressive yet achievable goals, monitor performance, and deliver impactful results.
  • A strategic thinker with business acumen to align marketing activities with overall business objectives.
  • Strong team player, able to work in cross-functional, diverse teams, and drive results through effective collaboration.
