About the Job

The Qt Company is looking for a Sales Manager / Account Manager, to join our QA Tools Business Unit (formerly Froglogic and Axivion) in Paris.

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for finding and developing new business opportunities and growing the Qt QA customer base within a defined territory.

You will connect with Director and VP level of Engineering professionals and demonstrate the value of Static Code and Software Architecture Analysis tools and other Qt Quality Assurance products such as test automation. You will deliver business outcomes with a consultative sales approach.

You will

  • Develop and implement smart customer acquisition strategies to grow the Qt QA customer base Lead and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing (including commercial contract negotiations)
  • Plan and execute on the strategic, operational, and tactical levels of customer engagement
  • Align with business development managers, industry leads, and regional sales leadership teams to present a single front to help represent a single vision for our customers
  • Participate in fairs, congresses and other events to promote Qt Quality Assurance products and services


    About you

    • Ideally 3+ years of experience in a technical sales environment
    • Solid sales track record, with a record of building satisfied, loyal and referenceable customers
    • Knowledge in value-based and solution selling
    • Understanding of software development processes and the common challenges and pain points, understanding of software quality assurance is required
    • Ability to demonstrate the value proposition and ROI of quality assurance products to potential customers
    • A proactive hunting and customer-centric approach to finding and pursuing new sales opportunities
    • Strong drive and motivation to acquire new business
    • A collaborative and team-oriented attitude to working with internal and external partners
    • A goal-oriented and results-driven mindset to achieve and exceed sales strategies
    • Ability to ask insightful questions and listen actively to understand customer needs and challenges
    • High level of French language skills
    • Advanced English communication skills both verbal and written (English is our corporate language), any other language is a plus
    • Basic knowledge of C++ is an advantage
