About the Role

The Qt Company is a global software company headquartered in Finland that provides a cross platform integrated development environment. Currently, Qt is used by customer in a wide range of industries in Japan and we are expanding sales of Qt product lineup and related services to further strengthen our customers in the Japan market. Japan market is one of the most important markets for Qt and it will be a great career advancement opportunity for Senior Business Development Specialist.

You will:

Process, package, and deliver with demos and examples to provide Qt + QA value to potential customers fitted into their project requirements and Qt + QA product usage situations in a variety of industry verticals
Attending, holding, and creating webinars, conferences, customized workshops, exhibitions, industry events, and all kinds of marketing events to create potential customer leads by providing the value of Qt offering with examples and demos
Nurturing Qt + QA ecosystem with having partnerships with industrial-related partners, including but not limited to related service providers/system integrators/license distributors and global/local Chipset/Board manufacturers/distributors to find and create outbound potential new customers together with the partners
Identify market trends and customer needs and find and develop new markets for Qt + QA products. Increase the value of current customers while attracting new customers Process, packaging, and deliver with demos and examples to provide Qt + QA value to potential customers fitted into their project requirements and Qt + QA products usage situation in a variety of industry verticals

About You:

Native Japanese Level, fluent English required.
+15 years of account management or business development experience in vertical market solution sales in Automotive SW Industry sector.
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
Innovation and logical problem-solving skills that include the ability to analyze customer project requirement and to develop and propose solutions for clients to deliver Qt+QA value in a creative approach
Skilled at solution selling and project selling in the Automotive software license business
Cooperative team player with aggressive, dynamic, and result oriented personality
Strong communication skills and IT tools fluency
Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
Excellent organizational skills

Preferred Skill

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or have an experience of computer programming preferred.
Previous SW sales experience will be preferred
Qt and other development framework knowledge preferred(.NET/Flutter/Crank/Kanzi/CGI Studio/Altia/Embedded Wizard/Touch GFX…) With knowledge and understanding about SW programming concepts and/or Embedded Computing industry preferred (C++/OOP/Linux/MCU/SoC)
QA Tool related BD+Sales experience & knowledge also be plus
