About the Job:

As a Junior Account Executive for the Axivion product suite at Qt Group, you’ll be an essential contributor to pipeline growth and strategic sales execution. In this hybrid role that bridges outbound sales development with early-stage deal strategy, you’ll be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and progressing opportunities to support Account Executives in closing new business. With consistent success and development, this role is designed to evolve into a closing Account Executive position within 12 months. This position is based in Boston, MA.

You will:

  • Outbound Prospecting: Execute multi-channel outreach (cold calls, emails, social) to identify and engage Ideal Client Personas across target industries.
  • Opportunity Creation: Deliver 15 qualified sales opportunities per quarter by conducting effective discovery and uncovering client pain points.
  • Inbound Lead Qualification: Follow up with marketing-generated leads and determine fit, urgency, and sales-readiness.
  • Strategic Handoffs: Transition qualified opportunities to Account Executives with detailed context, documented pain, and established next steps.
  • Territory & Account Research: Identify key players, business initiatives, and buying signals within assigned territory to tailor messaging and outreach.
  • Value-Driven Messaging: Clearly communicate the value of Axivion’s architecture analysis and quality assurance capabilities—focused on business impact, not just technical features.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to refine messaging, share feedback, and iterate on what’s working.
  • Event Engagement: Support marketing campaigns and events by engaging prospects, qualifying leads, and executing timely follow-up.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on trends in embedded systems, software quality, SDLC, and security that affect our target customers and value proposition.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a B2B sales environment as BDR/SDR, preferably in QA software, DevOps, or embedded systems.
  • Track record of high-quality prospecting and consistent quota attainment.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to uncover business pain and position outcomes—not just features.
  • Familiarity with the SDLC, DevOps, or software quality/QA is highly desirable.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM and sales engagement tools.
  • Exposure to MEDDPICC or similar qualification frameworks is a plus.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and driven by results.
  • Growth mindset—eager to learn and ready to step into a closing role with continued success.
