About the Role
Qt framework is a cross-platform technology that supports various existing OS from desktop OS to embedded OS as an application framework. Especially in the embedded field, Qt supports yocto to port to various HWs and provide an application development environment. The engineer in this position is mainly responsible for porting Qt framework to new HW, OS, and setting up development environment, including analysis and optimization of issues that may occur when developing applications using Qt framework on embedded OS.
You will:
- Issue analysis and optimization of Qt application on embedded OS (Memory, CPU & GPU performance)
- yocto-based Qt porting
- Qt porting for RTOS such as QNX
- Understand technical customer requirements and find solutions together with PM/R&D.
- Work independently, managing tasks and projects.
- Works with existing code and architecture levels across products.
About You:
- Experience with the C++ programming language
- Experience with yocto and cmake build system
- Experience with configuring cross-compilation environments
- Understanding of embedded Linux, experience optimizing boot sequences, and analyzing app crashes.
- Experience developing and debugging software on embedded products
- Knowledge of Embedded Linux or RTOS (QNX ..)
- Experience using and analyzing the Qt framework
- Good written and verbal communication skills with both internal stakeholders and customers
Beneficial skills:
- Familiarity with the Qt framework and QML
- Development experience and understanding of OpenGL or 3D rendering engines.
- Project experience with Hyudai Motor(ccOS), LG(WebOS)
- Native level Korean and Good English language skills
