We are looking for a Renewals Specialist to join our EMEA Renewals team. In this position, you will be responsible for existing customer relations and renewal business in your assigned territory. The role requires close collaboration directly with customers and Account Managers. You will also work with Customer Success to retain and expand our customer base. Managing a positive customer experience is a critical component of this role, with a focus on retention and growth.

The role is based in our HQ located in Espoo, Finland.

You will

  • Manage renewal contracts within an assigned territory to ensure on-time bookings
  • Communicate with customers through online meetings, via phone and email
  • Understand budgets, stakeholders, requirements, and approval processes in line with MEDDIC methodology
  • Sell licenses for software development, user interface design, automated user interface testing, code- and architecture analysis and testing coverage measurement
  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers, Sales Engineers, and Customer Success to align on customer strategies and coordinate customer communication
  • Use value selling to defend against competitive- and pricing pressure
  • Discover potential license expansions to refer up-and-cross-selling opportunities to Account Managers
  • Provide regular updates on renewal statuses and escalate customer requests as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex customer requests
  • Meet annual and quarterly revenue goals

About You

  • Academic or similar degree in Business
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in BDR/SDR, Inside Sales, Renewals, or Customer Success, preferably in the technology industry
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Independent and confident workstyle
  • Eager to learn and improve skillset
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English and German; Finnish language skills are not needed
