To help us achieve more we are looking for a Software Engineer DevOps in Hamburg, Germany.

In this role, you cooperate with engineers to get their code into the releases, and you will shape our product delivery's future.

You will

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes
  • Manage and maintain the existing build infrastructure
  • Write scripts and automation tools to streamline manual processes and repetitive tasks
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Implement best practices to enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of software development process and deployment
  • Collaborate across teams to coordinate and execute release plans, optimize release processes
  • Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency
  • Implement and manage security best practices throughout the development and deployment pipelines
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

About You

  • Experience with JVM languages: Groovy or Java is a must
  • Experience with CI systems (e.g., Jenkins)
  • Experience with large-scale software development
  • Experience building cross-platform and multi-architecture software
  • Working experience with Python or other scripting languages
  • Familiar with Containerization Platform: Docker
  • Familiar with provisioning and configuration management software: Ansible
  • Familiar with building automation tools: Maven
  • Deep understanding of the value of version control, review, and processes
  • Very good interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced English communication skills both verbal and written (English is our corporate language)
