About the Job:
Qt Group is looking for a Account Manager, Axivion to join our
sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for finding and developing
new business opportunities and growing the Axivion Product Suite within your
assigned customer base and a defined territory. This is a land and expand role.
You will connect with decision makers in the C-Suite and Individual
Contributors to demonstrate the value of Static Code Analysis (SAST) and
Software Architecture Analysis tools. You will help customers solve their
development issues and deliver business outcomes with a consultative sales
approach. This is a hybrid in-office role
in Shanghai/Shenzhen.
You will:
- Develop and implement smart
customer acquisition strategies to grow Axivion suite into customer base
and hunt net new logos
- Build and maintain strategic
long-term relationships with our customers to achieve organic growth and
long-term company goals
- Lead and manage the full
sales cycle from prospecting to closing (including commercial contract
negotiations)
- Plan and execute on the
strategic, operational, and tactical levels of customer engagement
- Align with business
development managers, industry leads, and regional sales leadership teams
to present a single front to help represent a single vision for our
customers
- Participate in industry
events to promote Axivion products and services
- Travel and present to
prospects and clients within assigned territory as needed. ~30% of the
time.
About You:
- You have a proven track
record in sales with a focus on new customer acquisition through cold
calling, prospecting, and consultative selling techniques.
- You possess strong technical
knowledge and can deliver initial product demonstrations to software
development teams, demonstrating our solutions' value and technical
merits.
- You have at least 5 yrs of
experience or deep knowledge of regulated industries, particularly in one
of the following: Automotive, Medical Devices, or Industrial Automation,
which enhances your understanding of customer challenges and compliance
requirements.
- You are tech-savvy, familiar
with functional safety and embedded systems, and can relate well to
technical buyers.
- Your background includes
software sales experience targeting developer teams, complemented by a
solid foundation in static code analysis tools.
- An educational background in
software engineering or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
Beneficial skills:
- Understanding of software
development processes and the common challenges and pain points faced by
developers and testers
- Experience in selling
software engineering tools such as code analysis, architecture analysis,
requirements engineering, ALM, etc.
- Knowledge in value-based
selling, solution selling, and creating long-term business relationships
in the software licensing industry
- Target-driven and
results-focused personality to deliver overachievement against clear
objectives and business development targets
- Proven track record of
building satisfied, loyal, and referenceable customers
- Ability to demonstrate the
value proposition and ROI of quality assurance products to potential
customers
