Job Responsibilities
- This is a technical engineer position supporting Qt APAC Business Development Team with specialized engineering skills, knowledge, and experience to promote Qt product offerings and value propositions to potential customers together with Business Development Manager.
- Aligned with and supporting APAC Business Development Manager,
- Visit and talk with customersto present Qt technology, collect feedback and come up with good suggestion internally to Marketing/Sales/PM/R&D
- Implement Qt based POC project and porting Qt to newly introduced chipsets, preparation for a customized demo application, optimize Qt libraries for customer boards, aiming to convince customer with Qt`s capacity
- Attend, hold and create webinars, conference, customized workshops, exhibition, industry events and all kinds of marketing events to create potential customer leads by providing the value of Qt offering with examples and demos.
- Constantly acquire the latest Qt product offering information & knowledge, update presentation documents.
- Market investigation and industry analysis to have a good understanding about market trends + customers` requirements + competitors` situation
- Interface with Product Management, R&D & Marketing team to deliver customer voice internally and to develop effective means to deliver Qt product values to customer.
Requirements
- Native level Mandarin speaking, fluent English spoken/written/reading communication skills required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation or related field.Master is a plus. Or, in a technical study with the main-focus on embedded software.
- At least 5+ year’s work experience in one of following industries mainly for the GUI application development on top of embedded environment – Automotive/Consumer Electronics / Automation / Engineering Software.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty. Young and energetic would be plus.
- Excellent presentation, demonstration and facilitation skills in leading meetings, trials and projects.
- Be a good questioner and behave proactively as a technical consultant. Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose solutions for customer’s requirement
- Cooperative team player with aggressive, dynamic, result oriented personality and good communication skills
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task flexibly.
- Ability to travel to offsite business/customer locations (25%~50% travel).
Technical Requirements
- Excellent C++ Programming Skills. Qt knowledge and experience is a clear advantage and plus.
- Experience with software (App/BSP) development.
- Able to analyze SDK （software development kit） and porting custom graphics toolkit to the new chipset(MPU/AP) independently. Ability to porting to MCU would be a plus.
- Good understanding and experience about GUI development in one of following industries (Automotive/Consumer Electronics/Automation/Engineering Software).
- Deep understanding of graphic display(2D/3D), familiar with OpenGL/OpenGL ES/Vulkan
- Experience with one of following GUI development tools (KANZI/Altia/Crank/Unreal/Unity). Production project experience with these tools would be a plus.
- Advanced skills/knowledge on low-level software stack would be a plus - Familiar with chipset and OS(mainly Embedded Linux & RTOS)
- First-hand experience working on MCU software projects with or without an OS(eg., Free RTOS & Baremetal) would be a plus.
